ハイモンド社から発売され、昭和時代に一世風靡した半自動電鍵にBK-100というモデルがあります。パドルが折れたものを安く手に入れました。元々、樹脂製のケースに収められていたのですが、この際、チーク材の上にパーツを展開してみました。少し早めに短点を打つとキツツキが木を叩くような音がして楽しいキーになりました。
There is a model called BK-100, a semi-automatic telegraph key that was released by Himond and dominated 1970s. I obtained one with a broken paddle at a reasonable price. It was originally housed in a plastic case, but on this occasion I laid the parts out on a piece of teak wood. It was transformed into a fun key that sounded like a woodpecker tapping on the wood when I hit the dots quickly.
