南船場は大阪のジュエリーの町です。たくさんのジュエリーショップが軒を並べています。先日、作ったワックスの鋳造依頼にseaforceさんに行ってきました。東京の本社に送るのでちょっと時間がかかりそうです。キーのようなメカ部品をワックスモデリングでつくるのは適当でないかもしれませんが、造形の自由度には惹かれるものがあります。
Minami-Semba is Osaka’s jewelry town. Many jewelry stores line the streets. I went to the SeaForce to request casting of wax I made the other day. It is going to take a little bit of time because they have to send it to the head office in Tokyo. It may not be appropriate to make mechanical parts like a morse key by wax modeling, but I am attracted by the flexibility of modeling.
